Tom Janssens

I founded Coronis. I write the guides on this site myself, and I deliver the work that follows from them. That is why my name sits under them and not a company's.
What I did before this
Twenty years in IT and innovation management, including Eurocontrol and Belgian SMEs. That is where my definition of "in production" was formed: tested, validated, observable, recoverable. Coronis runs on the same bar. AI speeds up the work. AI does not lower the bar.
Core bv, the company behind Coronis, has been running production SaaS for more than ten years. So Coronis is not an experiment that disappears in twelve months.
Why I sign what I write
An article nobody signs asks you to believe something without saying who is claiming it. You cannot check whether that person knows the subject, and you have nobody to take it up with when it turns out to be wrong.
So every piece here carries a name, a date, and a source next to any number it states. If something is wrong, tell me. I correct it and I put the date of the correction on it.
How I work
I build with AI, inside fixed rules, and a human approves before anything leaves. That is written out on how we work and how we write, including what it did not buy us.
